Rules
Hattrick is completely free of charge. We only insist that you follow our very simple house rules. If you think that someone is breaking the rules, please notify the GameMasters (or the Moderators, in case of forum offenses).
We are very proud of our community, and especially the forum spirit and activity. In the Hattrick forums there are a number of appointed Moderators (or Mods) who is there to help users in need, but also to make sure our forums are enjoyable to visit. When visiting the forums the general rules of behaviour apply as always, but some forum rules also apply to keep the friendly spirit in the forums. Some forums have additional specific rules, and these can always be found in the sticky topic in the relevant forum. The Moderators have the authority to issue forum bans and warnings as a way to uphold the rules.
In the forum areas of Hattrick you must follow our rules of behaviour, as well as the general House Rules (which non-registered users can find here:

Here is a short list of what is not allowed in these public forums:
- Player advertising or requesting valuations.
- Spam, i.e. multiple posting of the same message
- Racist or personal attacks; attacks on a specific nation or religion
- Political and religious discussions
- Excessive use of swearing or profane language
- Cheating accusations. Use
(/Common/cheatreport.asp)- Friendly match requests.
- Advertising things or services you wish to buy/sell/trade in real life
- Asking for help with illegal software (piracy) or CD-keys to such games/software
- Promote criminal activities or use of illegal goods or substances, i.e. drugs
- Bumping (i.e. replying needlessly to) your thread to raise its status in order to promote yourself or the content of the thread
- Discussions about decisions taken by GMs and/or Mods
- Begging for Supporter is not allowed
- provocations and trolling.
- Posting referral links or any links which bring any benefit to anyone when anybody clicks on them. This includes links to other games which give the link poster in-game benefits, links to advertisement sites which convey benefits to the poster (or anyone on the poster's behalf) when clicked on, charities not explicitly accepted or allowed beforehand by HT, voting competitions with prizes, Facebook campaigns of any kind, and so on.
Please note that in order to make sure the forums are a nice place to be, you should use a civil tone and avoid making unnecessarily negative, hurtful comments aimed at others.Additionally, excessive use of CAPITAL letters or
bolded text is considered to be shouting and is not tolerated.
